Recently opened as of the time that I write this, IneffableMUSH has been enormous fun so far. The last time I had this much fun was in the heyday of Jipang. I actually hadn't intended to join it initially; I thought I was satisfied with having just Jipang for my RP needs. But then I drew a picture of a kick-ass alternate-version Setsuri and became infatuated with the concept, so decided that I must play her somehow. My option were either to use her in a short-term TP on Jipang or join a new MU*, and as I was having trouble deciding how to carry off the TP, the new MU* it was. Ineffable was very handily available, being in the pre-opening stages, and I knew a lot of the people on it, so. :)
The concept revolves around the idea of the divine chessboard, the game between good and evil; two gods, one good (Phoenix) and the other evil (Roc) decide to set up a playing board of their own in the Dreamworld, to determine which is truly superior. A third (Simurgh) joins, advocating balance. Eventually, other gods flock to it; each god chooses people from other worlds who appeal to their natures, drawing them into the Dream to play in the game. Thus, the eternal struggle begins.
