We are too young to know better
But frailty comes with age
So we run towards Armageddon
While our legs still have the strength

- "Blindhammer"
Assemblage 23

Haven't had him long, and most of that time I was in the midst of 'blegh, don't want to be social and RP.' I might slowly be getting use from him, though.

Powers:

Crane’s Gift – Since regaining his powers (and thus losing his sacrifice), Kiwi gave him up. Crane swiftly took him up, finding in the thin Quincy a dedication to his craft that was pleasing--whether one refers to Quincy powers or handicrafts, for that matter. Crane’s Gift, however, benefits the Quincy side of Ishida’s dedication more. Ishida can now see, almost literally, whatever he wants to; his eyesight has sharpened to hawk-like levels. If he can see it, no matter how far in the distance it is, he can make out details as though he were standing next to it. Even at night, he can see as clearly as though it were day; the only exception is when he actually has something obstructing his vision, or it’s a magical or psychic darkness.

Sensitive – He can sense spiritrons with a great deal of accuracy. He doesn’t know what to make of magic; it seems superficially similar to the demon arts he was vaguely aware that the shinigami wielded, but it feels a little… off, somehow. Regardless, he can sense any form of spiritual power, and can see ghosts, spirits, and other such creatures. It’s not refined enough to allow him to sense their finer motions, but gross movements such as moving from one spot to another can be pinpointed. He can’t generally tell individuals apart by ‘feel,’--it requires actually being in the presence of the individuals, although he can sometimes hazard a guess based on the strength of the aura. He can, however, tell types of energy apart to a limited degree--at least, he can differentiate Hollows and shinigami from humans. Also, it requires a good amount of power being emanated for him to sense someone who’s out of line-of-sight; a normal human being simply doesn’t have the presence.

Spirit Bow – His primary method of attack. With the aid of a small cross, Ishida can form a bow out of pure spiritrons and fire arrows of spiritual energy. They have incredible range--very often they can cover miles--and strike anything that possesses a spirit, including normally-immaterial ghosts and spirits. Usually, his power is such that a weak Hollow can be struck down with just one such arrow; stronger ones usually require more, if they can be defeated by the arrows at all.

Speed – By gathering spiritrons and using them to push himself, he can attain incredible speeds, often vanishing as he moves too quickly for the eye to follow, similar to the shinigami Shunpou technique. He uses this speed as much as any raw power to defeat opponents. He can’t keep up that level of speed for very long, however; it’s mostly good for dodging unexpected attacks and taking the opponent off-guard.

Ransoutengai – Even when his body is physically unable to move, Ishida can, with the use of this technique, force himself beyond that limit. By gathering spiritrons and arraying them in lines attached to his body, he can literally puppet his own body in order to force it to move when it no longer physically able to move, allowing him to fight until his body is reduced to dust. However, by using spiritrons in this manner, it does detract from the power of his spirit-arrows, as the spirit-lines require constant channeling.

Skills:

Archery – Thanks to his dedicated years of training, Ishida is a superb archer. Granted, he’s much more accustomed to shooting a spirit-bow, which differs in a number of areas from a physical one, but the general principles behind it are the same (although any real archer would likely wince at his right-handed grip). Given some time to adjust, he could quickly adapt and rise to his former levels of accuracy, although not power. To a lesser extent, this holds for marksmanship in general; he has good hand-eye coordination, but it carries over much less.

Handicrafts – He was one of the best members of the handicrafts club in his high school, wielding thread and needle as swiftly and accurately as his bow. In fact, he made all his Quincy clothes himself. He has an eye for the stylish (although some would disagree with his taste--it’s more in the ‘cosplay’ style rather than street fashion), and disdains wearing ill-fitting or poor clothing unless circumstances dictate otherwise. Especially clothing with buttons. Hidden fasteners and zippers are much more his style.

Domestic Chores – Since he lives alone in his own apartment, he’s had to learn how to take care of a house by himself. He’s not a great cook, but he can get by; and he’s just obsessive enough to keep the place spotless, given his penchant for white.

Weaknesses:

Oddly Chivalrous - He'd be the first to disavow it, but Ishida does have a streak of unbidden nobility in him. He isn't quite the protector that Ichigo is, but he can't stand by and do nothing when it seems like someone could use his help, even if it means crippling himself in the process. And he will do his best to avoid hurting anyone not involved in a dispute, which has led to getting injured more than once before.

Power Sickness - Thanks to the method by which Rukia restored his powers to him, Ishida can hear the screams of the soul she used to replace his burnt-out power channels every time he draws in the spiritrons to exercise his abilities. It isn't audible, or even mental, so much as a bone-deep feeling of oddly separated agony and shrieking. As a result, he can't stand to use his powers for very long; too long, and he starts feeling sick, in a 'nausea and dizziness' sort of way.
