H. Jenkin - Pimp, Prostitute, or Shameless Flirt? - Strolling around the city after making her new home/shop, Tai'en encounters Howl setting up his own shop, and within a few seconds of talking manages to insult him. Go her. Nevertheless, he's only too happy to show off for a lady. (7/26/05)
Fire, Fire, Fire! - The Fire Point Guard, in the Fire District, with the Firebender Zuko. Now she just needs someone to murder and she'd be set. But all that happens is a brief chat about 'bending and--well, fire. (7/30/05)
A Night at the Club - A rather subdued night, for a rather subdued club. Tai'en goes to explore the Fire District again, and drops into the Velvet Room. There, she meets Nanashi, Shuyin, and once again, Howl. People stare at her sword lots. Incomplete. (8/5/05)
-----
Somewhere in between these two times, Aoko disappeared without a trace; in the absence of a new Priest of Simurgh, Tai'en declared herself interim Mayor, until such a time as a new Priest was chosen. Lost the +bbposts that said as much, unfortunately.
-----
A Minor Disturbance - Heading home from a shopping trip, Tai'en gets a faceful of advertising for the Ain Soph, and meets the mercenary company's leader, Lake Wyatt. About to inquire as to their availability for a job, their conversation is interrupted as Sousuke nearly brains a passerby. Things settle out and end up with the once-soldier carting Tai'en's packages home for her. (8/14/05)
The First to Pass, the First to Refuse - Sagara Sousuke comes to Tai'en's office to look for a job, and actually passes Tai'en's (relatively simple, by her estimation) tests. As the first to do so, Tai'en makes him the offer of a position as a Point Guard, should Simurgh accept him; but, much to her surprise, he refuses the position. So instead, she offers him a position as Sheriff, which he takes. (8/26/05)
Encouraging Insanity - On her way to the Velvet Room for a soothing drink, Tai'en pauses to chat with Shuyin, and finds out an interesting ability he possesses. Perhaps she shouldn't have encouraged him to use it on the Winterheart soldiers, though... but somehow she can't bring herself to feel too bad. (8/26/05)
Two Point Guard - Hard on the heels of the first applicant to pass her tests, Tai'en receives another one--and unlike Sousuke, Tokaki actually accepts the offer of a Point Guard position. Fortunately, Simurgh accepts him as well, granting him the position of Wood. (8/26/05)
A Convocation of Lechers and Women - Howl hits on Seras, Tokaki objects slightly because he'd rather be hitting on her, Heinkel hits Tokaki to the floor to warn him about the vampire, and Tai'en walks in on all of this and is rather confused. Things are more or less sorted out eventually, though, and they depart on their merry ways. (8/29/05)
Metal + Water = ... Rust? - Rikku seeks Tai'en out, having been told that she's the one to talk to about helping out with things; passing her through her tests, Tai'en finds Rikku sufficient, and takes her to the Temple. Almost by accident, Shuyin tags along; much to Tai'en's surprise, both get chosen as new Points. (9/4/05)
Change of Command - Having received word of the dust-up at the gates, Major General Frank Archer of the Winterheart Militsii arrives that very night to reprimand Tai'en and take the city into more capable hands. Tai'en has some objections to this. And makes them known. Forcefully. Incomplete. (9/18/05)
Episode II: Attack of the Groundhogs - Gone incognito after being so forcibly evicted from office and home, Tai'en wanders the street in disguise. She encounters Tokaki again, who's quite happy to see that she isn't dead, and meet Heinkel in alternate form--but the reunion is interrupted as a mysterious, chaotic sandstorm blows up, and groundhogs swarm over the city. Howl and Shuyin join in the fight to defend the city from the mysterious attack, as well. (10/3/05)
Laying Plans - The day after the groundhog attack, Tai'en manages to find Shuyin, and sits him down to ask some things of him regarding the Winterheart soldiers. (10/4/05)
Council of War Harassment - A few days later, Tai'en manages to get a message to the other Points to meet her, so that they can make some further plans on what to do to the occupiers. (10/9/05)
Hired Help - Spying a familiar wolflike dog, Tai'en pauses to examine it, and it her, before the dog trots away and Heinkel returns. They discuss business: namely, once again, causing trouble for Winterheart. (10/15/05)
A Divine Visitation - Tai'en comes to the Velvet Room to discuss the possibility of using it as a base with Nanashi, but as they make a trip to the Temple, where they can speak without fear of eavesdropping, a greater power decides to step in and speak with him instead. (10/22/05)
A Demonic Visitation - Walking the city in her girl-disguise, Tai'en happens to see a wanted killer--that is, Aion--leaving the city, with a mysterious object of obvious malice tucked under his arm. Somewhat miffed at that, she stops him, but he doesn't take kindly to being stopped; and when Shuyin joins, things just escalate. Incomplete. (10/22/05)
The Circle Complete - Finally following up on recommendations, Tai'en sneaks into Celes' room at night to grill her on tactics and motivation, before taking her to the Temple again. The Five Point Guard is, once again, the Five Point Guard. (10/22/05)
Why Is It Always Snakes? - Another day, another attack by Thunderbird--this time in the form of snakes of dust. Featuring blind men (played by Nanashi), kooky salesmen (as portrayed by Urahara), pervy medicine-sellers (Kyoshiro, in his recurring role), and last but not least, Katamarillyria Damacy (in her first role as the Prince, Illyria). And Tai'en, of course. (11/16/05)
Attack of the Raging ... House. - This time, Thunderbird's attack takes less of an openly destructive, and rather more of a quirky form, as an ambulatory house decides to move into Middleton. (12/1/05)
